Boomtown Pokémon Rules
May. 10th, 2014 01:22 pmThe following rules must be kept to and adhered to when introducing Pokémon species to the New Dodge settlement:
1. No Pokémon that can cause drastic changes to the environment, whether this be Weather Changes, Time Travel, or other such immense influence.
Example Pokémon: Celebi, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus
2. Keep species to a minimum. Please do not bring swarms of Bug-type Pokémon, or flocks of Bird-types. There is a risk that the intruding species can overwhelm the native animal life, or cause damage to land/flora/fauna.
3. Perform research. There is an extensive Pokémon database available on the network. If using the Hopper, please consult a Pokémon specialist in the region you are visiting. This ensures that you are FULLY CAPABLE of taking care of your Pokémon's needs.
e.g. If a Pokémon requires that it needs metal ore in order to survive, please ensure you can provide the ore it needs.
4. Pokémon Training/Battles MUST NOT be performed near inhabited areas. This is important particularily for new Trainers. Pokémon have a wide variety of abilities from being able to breathe fire, to producing electricity. This can be dangerous for bystanders if the Pokémon/Trainer does not know how to utilise attacks correctly.
5. Pokémon must be trained. No Wild Pokémon may be brought into and released into New Dodge. All Pokémon must be registered using the Pokémon Registration System.
6. Care of Pokémon must be ensured. Please ensure that the needs of your Pokémon are met whilst they are here in New Dodge. Please see point 3. Care tips may also be sought from Professor Elm.
7. Release of Pokémon. Should you wish to release your Pokémon into the wild, please return it to it's region of origin and the route in which you captured it. Alternatively, please turn the Pokémon over to Professor Elm.
